Wendy: I'm with you on your dog track/horse racing story. I did an interview this spring about a horse barn manager who has rescued many horses, some of whom were about to go from the trace track to the glue bottle. It was pretty clear that there are many who use animals in a disposal manner.
Frankly, I think most sports serve to bring out human's more base instincts to dominate -- but now it's domination for no particular reason.
