I used to use iGoogle, but I switched to NetVibes instead. It has all the same modules and more, and it looks a lot nicer. Plus you can go "4-column" which even makes a wide screen beautifully dense with information: Weather, top news stories, lowest local gas prices. I also added traffic cams to check before I leave for work, and it tells me which of my favorite tv shows are on each day.
Have you seen the movie Deliver Us From Evil? If you did, you'd know that Louis CK bit is frightfully close to the truth.

The dead-baby thing was charged as second-degree murder or manslaughter because the prosecution suspected it wasn't an accident. So far, it looks like the couple didn't want the baby, so they underfed it, and oops! it died! Imagine that! I don't remember exactly, but the father had something in his past that suggested he knew what he was doing, and was trying to get rid of the baby.
